The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Junior Aerospace Digital Forensics Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to enhancing national security through cutting-edge, technology-centric solutions. As a Junior Aerospace Digital Forensics Engineer, you will be part of the data analysis group, directly contributing to the development and enhancement of CACI’s systems and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Mentorship: Receive guidance and rapid on-the-job training from an industry-leading expert.
- System Performance Management: Manage, monitor, and evaluate system performance across multiple customers and baselines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of engineers to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
- Multi-disciplinary Interaction: Engage with a diverse team of Computer, Software, Hardware, Electrical RF, Electrical DSP, and Aerospace engineers.
- Advanced Skill Utilization: Apply a deep understanding of mathematics, logical data parsing, and aerospace performance modeling.
- Report Writing: Write detailed analysis reports intended for sharing with other engineers and customers.
- Intelligence Solutions: Provide intelligence solutions that make all data rapidly available for reporting and analytics for PORs (Plans of Record), QRCs (Quick Reaction Capabilities), and prototypes.
- Feedback Generation: Generate reporting feedback to assist in development efforts and enhance customer understanding.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering Science and Mechanics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in coding language(s) such as: Python, C++, Rust, SQL, Matlab
- Strong foundational knowledge in advanced mathematics and logical data parsing.
- Basic understanding of aerospace performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Conduct work at business site location in Sterling, VA
- TOP SECRET with ability to obtain SCI
Desired:
- Experience in the use of DoD operational mission systems
- Experience in digital forensics or data analysis.
- Previous mentorship or training experience.
- Strong understanding of aerospace performance.
