Account Director, Technology PR

As an Account Director, you will be:

• Partnering with our technology practice leaders to lead and grow our client roster of global technology brands spanning consumer and B2B tech, smart lifestyle, fintech and more
• Leading PR and media strategy for a roster of accounts
• Acting as the point of contact for senior clients and executives and cultivating long term partnerships through strategic counsel, creative thinking, thoughtfully crafted insights and quality deliverables
• Overseeing teams, managing work streams and training/mentoring junior team members
• Staying on top of industry trends and translating them to actionable and proactive ideas for clients and teams
• Supporting agency growth, identifying and pitching incremental and new business opportunities
• Managing all aspects of account health, utilization and profitability from budgets to contracts, allocations and more
• Leading cross functional collaboration across teams and departments, working together to meet client goals and objectives

Requirements

What You Have:

• You have 6-8 years of experience in public relations, leading a range of consumer and/or B2B technology accounts.
• You have a successful track record for orchestrating comprehensive PR plans and media strategy for your clients.
• You have experience leading teams and managing and mentoring junior staff members to equip them with the tools and resources to succeed.
• You excel at building relationships with senior clients and executives.
• You have a rolodex of strong national technology and business media relationships.
• You have experience leading/supporting new business.
