Role/ Department:

Limerick’s Custody Client Service team are responsible for 700+ clients. The department has a high level of interaction with internal teams to source information which enables the team to provide Prompt Quality Responses for all client queries.

Based in Limerick, the Technical Coordinator Custody Client On-boarding partner is ultimately responsible and the principle point of contact (for both Clients and Partners) for all new business, new Client markets and Custody on-boarding service delivery. Working within a dynamic team the role entails liaising with Clients both internally and externally to ensure all key milestones are achieved.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead the Custody on-boarding process for Clients and Investment Managers with the overall goal of delivering proactive, unparalleled Client service
  • Operate as a Consultant for Custody related assets- take on for new business setup to ensuring a seamless transition to Northern Trust Custody
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with critical business Partners & other internal groups, e.g. Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody Servicing, Derivatives, Pricing, etc.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant third parties, e.g. trustees, external advisors, consultants, etc.
  • Track service & delivery results against project plans and SLD, monitor service & delivery through Client reviews, internal / external surveys, specific Client feedback, consultant feedback etc.
  • Maintain service & delivery logs to ensure provision of efficient operating model.
  • Communicate effectively with RMs / CSMs / internal stakeholders.
  • Compile service & delivery plans in line with best practice standards.
  • Ensure procedures are fit for purpose.
  • Promote by example and action the highest standards of integrity, accountability & Client service across GFS EMEA and the global GFS business.

Skills/ Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to persuade and influence change / best practice.
  • Experience of working within Custody and good knowledge of the Custody operating environment.
  • Technically competent in GFS service areas; including Fund Administration, with foundational knowledge and understanding for all GFS products & services.  Solid technical knowledge of the securities industry, its products and instruments.
  • Strong presence and impact. Ability to act as a positive change agent.
  • Excellent organisational skills and capability of prioritising tasks.
  • Thoroughly learns and understands Client strategy, infrastructure, products, key personnel and how they link back to NT.
