  • Drive cloud innovation and adoption of AWS capabilities to improve agility, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Cloud Architecture & Operations

  • Ensure infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation best practices (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK) are embedded across the organization.

  • Establish robust disaster recovery, high availability, and performance optimization frameworks.

  • Optimize cloud spend through effective cost governance and resource utilization strategies.

Healthcare & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all AWS environments meet or exceed HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and other applicable compliance frameworks.

  • Lead security and privacy-by-design practices across cloud engineering initiatives.

  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on regulatory audits, certifications, and attestations.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing cloud engineering team.

  • Promote a culture of innovation, learning, and operational excellence.

  • Drive professional growth opportunities for engineers in AWS specialization areas.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their applicability to enhance the company’s offerings.

  • Establish processes for evaluating and adopting new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

  • Strategically retire technical debt
