About the Role & Program
Disney Experiences (DX) strategic objectives include sustaining growth across the franchise portfolio and expanding a franchise management approach across our businesses and regions. Our vision is to build an aligned Consumer Franchise Strategy Direction for each franchise to drive measurable value toward established goals for DX and the enterprise. To do that, the DX Consumer Franchise Strategy & Integrated Planning team’s objective is to find opportunities and gaps across our Franchises, provide prioritization, drive alignment, and support Franchise programs across the DX portfolio! This exciting internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2025 to June 2025.
What You Will Do
As an intern, your journey will be filled with opportunities to learn grow, and contribute to our dynamic organization!
On any given day, you might:
- Support the Sr. Manager, Consumer Franchise Strategy & Integrated Planning in coordinating, tracking, and driving project plans and ad hoc assignments
- Compile and build reports and decks that support our planning ecosystem, franchise projects, and industry and competitive data in support of franchise strategies
- Coordinate and participate in task force meetings, develop recaps, and take ownership of the next steps
- Evaluate consumer insights and contribute to a strategic POV
- Establish relationships through daily communications with many The Walt Disney Company partners
- Develop a keen understanding of the various businesses within the Global Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products segment and apply that knowledge to assigned projects
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Possesses an ambitious spirit, diligence, and a desire to learn
- Meticulous with strong interpersonal, presentation, and project management skills
- Self-starter, adept at working independently, leading multiple priorities at once and meeting established timelines
- Resourceful, strategic, adaptable to change, ability to think on your feet
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a proven understanding of Keynote
Education
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Currently enrolled junior, senior, or graduated within the past six months majoring in marketing, business, communications, or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- May not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Program
Additional Information
- Must be in compliance with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 - June 2025
- Full availability is required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship, including possible evenings and weekends if needed
- Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required
