About The Position

​​​The Senior Facilities Manager acts as a trusted Business Partner by partnering, collaborating, and leading a team of diverse stakeholders engaged in facilities operation, maintenance, projects, and planning activities while driving results with respect to oversight of safety programs, conforming to policies, job quality standards and operational budget responsibilities.​​ 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Foster and promote a culture of safety and zero unsafe acts
  • Establishes and leads cross-functional teams to develop an overall execution strategy, project accounting, work order management, and proper asset classification.
  • Support data analytics around managing the current year budget.  Leads and manages service and project sourcing service events and contracts. 
  • Lead mid-sized projects or a or portfolio of small projects consisting of large project teams, high levels of complexity and risk. Has overall accountability for scope, budget, and scheduling of moderate and complex projects.  Flexibility to manage projects in all types of portfolios.
  • Develop project forecasts and revised project budgets and forecasts, implements project cost controls.
  • Develop contracts/specification, submit requisitions for labor and/or materials, process pay requests, review, and approve invoices, vendor proposals, scope revisions, etc.
  • Assign and align resource needs towards goal identification and execution.  Proactively addressing needs and removing obstacles allowing the team to focus on their assigned work.
  • Manages stakeholder expectations, facilitated transparency, adaption, and communication.  Develops and recommends strategic facility management objectives for business partners. 
  • Actively promote governance with Facilities Management & Construction standard, supports and when need lead the change management process.
  • Communicates to business partners regarding property profiles, evacuation plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports.
  • Manage building infrastructure. (Building code, life safety, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing & paving)
  • Performs frequent building inspections to ensure proper operation of critical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Act as an informal leader mentoring co-workers within FM&C.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts. 
  • Proficient knowledge of IWMS system.
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required with 8+ years or relevant experience required.   Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management preferred.  In lieu of a bachelor's degree an Associate's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a High school diploma with 14+ years of relevant experience is required.   PMP, IFMA (International Facilities Management Associatio
