Job Description
Your mission and responsibilities:
Here at the Aviv Agile CoE, we believe in being pragmatic by having a large toolkit from the various agile and lean methods and practices to leverage specific methods when the context requires. We do not have a company-wide agile framework. Your role, which reports to the Head of Agility, is critical to mentoring domain agile coaches, and empowering domain leads and team leads to build high-performing teams that deliver business and customer impact.
- Work together with the other Agile Lead to propose and drive initiatives cross-domain at a program level.
- Mentor and grow domain Agile Coaches to gain experience, upskill, and come up with their coach approach to holistically support domains.
- Increase the agile maturity, incremental thinking skills and self organization of our cross functional teams, by working both as a dedicated team member and change agent for multiple domains.
- Support and build relationships with org-level and domain-level management.
- Work with other Agile coaches, development teams, tech leads, and product managers to create an environment with high autonomy, critical thinking, and high alignment, where teams learn to self-organize based on a strong and well-understood vision and clear KPIs.
- Coach and train multiple domains, its management, and teams on the effective application of Agile values, principles and practices, leading to high performance at a sustainable pace, and high employee engagement.
- Lead and drive the Agile CoE at Aviv Group, together with all our Agile coaches to share knowledge and best practices, building relationships and trust, and scale the CoE’s impact across the organization.
Support on the following levels, alongside another Agile Lead:
- Coach and mentor domain Agile Coaches
- Support org-wide and domain-wide management
- Collaborate with your peer Agile Coaches in the CoE to drive org-wide topics
- Coach domain-level and team-level management, and team members
Qualifications
Your skills:
- You have several years of experience as an Agile Coach.
- You have worked closely with organization-wide and domain-wide management.
- You have a proven track record of mentoring and growing Agile Coaches.
- You have prior experience in managing other Agile Coaches.
- You have worked with various frameworks and practices including but not limited to Scrum, Kanban and Lean, Waterfall, and LeSS.
- You have worked with tools and softwares such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
- Proven record in promoting transparency, empowerment and continuous improvement.
- Excellent facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills both for technical and non-technical audiences.
- You have a servant leadership mindset, and have a natural willingness to empower teams and individuals to reach the next level. You promote an experimentation mindest on all levels.
- You are familiar with managing stakeholders expectations and have strong lateral leadership skills.
- You have a growth mindset and enjoy tasks in change management and organizational development.
- You coach and guide the teams towards self-organization, and agile maturity through welcoming ideation and innovation.
- You are a people person with strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills. Creating trust is your highest priority.
