Senior Systems Administrator

<p><strong>ManpowerGroup Greece</strong>, on behalf of its client, one the most well know companies of the country, with leading presence in B2B &amp; B2C sectors of electrical equipment, energy management solutions and others, is seeking to hire a <strong>Senior Systems Administrator</strong>, for its premises in Athens</p><p><strong>Workplace location: </strong>Athens, Northeastern suburbs (On-site)</p><p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong> </p><ul><li>You will act as a technical expert in the field of systems management for complex operating environments </li></ul><ul> <li>You will plan and coordinate the execution of infrastructure related projects </li> <li>You will monitor system performance, IT systems operations and storage usage</li> <li>You will plan in advance for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system development. </li> <li>You will be responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including server network, devices and firewalls</li> <li>You will have the ability to develop, document, communicate and enforce a network technology policy, review and update network security permissions in accordance with company policy </li> </ul><ul> <li>You will resolve any escalation issues as 2nd level support </li> <li>You will work with vendors to implement projects and resolve issues</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>A BSc/MSc in Computer Science or relevant field </li> <li>5+ years of proven experience in the information technology sector </li> </ul><ul> <li>Strong knowledge in VMWare Hypervisors &amp; Microsoft Windows Server Services &amp; Technologies (AD, ADFS, CA, DFS, DHCP, DNS, IIS, SQL) as well as SAN Storage Systems &amp; Cisco IP Telephony </li> <li>Advanced knowledge of networking and distributed computing environment concepts, as well as a sound understanding of the principles of routing, firewalls &amp; web application firewalls </li> <li>Strong knowledge in cloud services (Azure, AWS) </li> <li>Proven analytical skills and troubleshooting ability </li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive Salary </li> <li>Continuous Training &amp; Development opportunities </li> <li>Medical Insurance package &amp; pension plan </li> <li>Performance based bonus </li> </ul>
