Overview
Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Lionville, PA. Position Summary
The Physical Therapist assesses, treats, and manages patients with orthopedic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves developing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and patients, providing patient education, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides, and serving as a resource for the Physical Therapy team. This is a full-time position with the following schedule: This is a Monday–Friday full time position. The position includes $1,750 annual CME/CEU reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and establish goals, treatments, and care plans in conjunction with physicians, patients, and families
- Ensure appropriate treatments are performed in an interdisciplinary manner, consulting with physicians on patient care
- Document findings, treatments, and other patient information accurately in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on therapies, exercises, and home care instructions
- Serve as an information and education resource for patients, families, and staff
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides
- Support ongoing education and professional development of the Physical Therapy staff
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current Physical Therapist License in Pennsylvania
- BLS Certification Required
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic preferred
