POSITION SUMMARY
The Part-Time Manager of Regional Recruitment has the responsibility for planning and executing Le Moyne’s undergraduate recruitment throughout the Northeast, with a particular focus in New Jersey. While admission staff from Le Moyne College will support the recruitment effort, the Manager will have primary responsibility for New Jersey. The Manager will also help as a recruiter for the New York City metropolitan area when needed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties specific to this position:
The Manager will also partner with the other regional managers, working together to optimize our related geographic, multicultural and other enrollment goals.
With a heavy reliance on data, evaluate the New Jersey market and recommend plans for search, high school relationships, targeted communications, and involvement of alumni and other key persons.
Work alongside the Director, First-Year Admissions and the AVP, Enrollment Management to lay out the strategy for a recruitment and enrollment of a First-year class
Assist with the development of Le Moyne’s emerging new high school strategy for territory/recruitment management and marketing/communications.
Routinely and annually, review data on the results of the prior year’s efforts. Use this analysis to reshape plan in real time and for the following year.
Manage the relationship with students from the prospect to enrollment stages. This includes prospect outreach, application review, and yield follow up for students in the designated territory.
Travel to the Le Moyne campus at regular intervals for involvement in planning, training, reviewing applications, and helping host campus events.
Maintain travel schedule of 7-9 weeks in the fall and 4-6 weeks in the spring
Oversee travel schedules for regional team
Schedule virtual events and information sessions for prospective students from outside
Manage relationship with high schools and CBOs throughout the region.
Manage the relationship with selected community colleges in the region.
In coordination with Le Moyne College admission staff, train alumni in the region and build a plan for their support of all aspects of the recruitment effort.
Other duties as necessary to support institutional recruitment efforts.
