JOB OVERVIEW

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Mobile Mechanic is to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all mobile equipment to ensure production continuity and efficiency. Duties may involve troubleshooting electrical & mechanical systems on mobile equipment. In addition, assist in maintenance welding; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and general building repair and maintenance.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to)

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including vehicles, trailers, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
  • Troubleshoot equipment or operational issues and assist team members with repairs, lubrication, and general maintenance.
  • Support equipment installation, relocation, and preparation.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and part replacements as needed.
  • Operate lifting equipment such as cranes and scissor lifts.
  • Maintain records, order supplies, and plan work procedures.
  • Perform general maintenance, including cleaning and facility upkeep.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience: One – three years of mobile mechanic experience required. Prior exposure to metal fabrication or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and understanding of equipment drawings/schematics is required.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any leadership responsibilities.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position may be required to drive to all Robinson facilities (De Pere and Manitowoc).
