Medical Assistant-CMA or RMA | Obstetrics & Women's Health

Summary

• Deliver patient-focused rooming for various types of clinic visits.
• Communicate results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers.
• Ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time.

Schedule

• Full time position - Working 56-64 hours every two weeks | Onsite at Lakeland Clinic
• Tues-Fri 7:30AM to 4:30PM; every other Sat. daytime (with Thursday off that week)

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $20.41 per hour: exact wage determined by years of related experience 
  • Pay range: $20.41- $30.30 per hour

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. 
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following: 
• American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
• Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
