Description
CTG is seeking to fill a Site Inventory Analyst opening for our client in Whitsett, NC.
Location: Whitsett, NC
Duration: Ongoing contract
Overview:
Inventory Analyst who will drive best-in-class inventory controls throughout the US Fulfillment Center warehouse, as well as measure and report accuracy, aging, and other inventory related KPIs on a regular basis. Requires strong communication and teaming skills and will report to the site Inventory Manager. Self-driven team player with high energy, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to develop an understanding of internal processes and tools. Continuous Contract renewal based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory data and statistics to help drive process improvements and inventory control, accuracy, and aging in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Perform monthly KPI measurements and reporting, including updates on action items for improvements.
- Collaborate with the inventory controls and operations team leads to provide analysis and corrective solutions to inventory issues, driving actions and resolution as needed.
- Provide and/or analyze inventory data and work with the inventory team lead to support cycle count strategy, tracking and reporting.
- Own documentation and updates of inventory team processes and procedures, including monitoring and driving adherence to those processes and procedures.
- Communicate annual and semi-annual physical inventory count/audit results, as well as drive variance reconciliation and completion of approved adjustments by the inventory team.
Basic Requirements:
- System skills to include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to support all shifts and work overtime as needed to support the team and site.
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimum High School diploma and stable work history.
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- SAP background in material movement and inventory management/control.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
