Pediatric Direct Support Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide support and companionship to our pediatric clients in the comfort of their own home. The role will involve assisting with personal care and bathing, preparing/feeding meals, daily activities and offering friendly companionship. In this position, you'll need some hands-on experience in direct support or behavioral health care to help us provide the best possible care for this client.

Schedule: 3 pm to 6 pm when in school, 8 am to 2 pm when out of school. Occasional hours may be open on the weekend.

Pay rate: $19 per hour with added shift differential for any hours worked over the weekend.

A few daily tasks may include:

• Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
• Bathing/personal care
• Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
• Laundry 
• Providing companionship
• Running errands

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age 
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 LBS 
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
