Housekeeping / Janitorial

The primary purpose of this role is for the overall cleaning maintenance of the site. The Janitor is responsible for keeping the facility clean, including manufacturing area, clean room, mold shop, shipping/receiving, warehouse, restrooms, the front offices and employee breakroom. Cleaning includes but not limited to sweeping and vacuuming, trash removal, dusting, restocking, wipe down of machines and related work areas, breakroom cleaning, and mopping. **This is a 3rd shift position, beginning at 10:00pm and ending at 06:00am, each day. The work week is Sunday night through Thursday morning.**

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and Restock breakroom and Kitchenette area with supplies
• Clean and Restock restrooms in production area and up front 
• Vacuum, mop and use floor machine in manufacturing area 
• Sweep and clean warehouse and mold shop 
• Empty all trash and recycling bins throughout the building 
• Clean, vacuum and dust offices throughout the building 
• Keep Janitors closet and equipment clean and organized 
• Clean Cleanroom as needed to cleanroom standards 
• Clean manufacturing and mold shop equipment as assigned 
• Clean around outside of building when needed
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Shovel snow on sidewalks and distribute salt

 

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Janitorial or Custodial experience preferred 
  • Must be able to correctly follow verbal and written instructions related to cleaning procedures and safety guidelines in a timely manner. 
  • Must be able to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently to move objects, and have the ability to repeatedly bend, twist, and lift to satisfactorily clean the areas.
