Senior Accountant Branch Accounting & Compliance (m/f/d)

 

 

Your areas of responsibilities:

 

• Cooperation with external Branch-Bookkeeping for the tax assessment and tax reporting in compliance with country regulations, including support in the compilation of transfer pricing related documentation
• Compilation of Branch office statutory accounts and coordination with external auditors, in cooperation with external Branch bookkeeping
• Supervision and administration of respective external Branch office bookkeeping
• Cooperation with local advisers to ensure compliance with country regulations, e.g. for the requirements of local suppliers (e.g. UBO declaration etc.)
• Front-end administration of Branch office matters within Headoffice (e.g. approval processes)
• Participation within Branch office related projects from a accounting & tax perspective, to safeguard compliance to country requirements.

 

Your profile of qualification:

 

• Completed (university) studies in the field of Finance & Accounting or similar or a comparable qualification (e.g. certified accountant or similar)
• Profound knowledge of accounting according to HGB / IFRS
• Good understanding of Tax Accounting and Compliance requirements
• Preferably previous experience within international company groups
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Attitude towards continuous improvement as well as analytical and structured thinking
• A high degree of independence, diligence and quality awareness
• Very good knowledge of German, English and the ability to work in an international team
