In this crucial role, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our payment processing gateway, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall objectives. As a senior leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our payment infrastructure and contributing to the continued success of our organization. What you'll do:
- Develop and articulate a clear product strategy for the payment processing gateway, aligning with the company's overall goals and growth plans.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging payment methods, and competitive offerings to inform the payments product roadmap. Product Development and Lifecycle Management:
- Lead end-to-end product development, from ideation to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, operations, and QA.
- Define and prioritize features based on market needs, customer feedback, and business priorities.
- Implement and oversee product lifecycle management processes to ensure ongoing product relevance and sustainability. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and clients, to gather insights, validate ideas, and ensure alignment with market needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the payment processing gateway, fostering strong relationships with clients and understanding their evolving requirements. Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to inform product decisions, measure the success of features, and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on the performance of the payment processing gateway to relevant stakeholders. Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide mentorship and leadership to a cross-functional product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver high-quality products on time.
What you'll bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or other relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Product Manager or similar role in the FinTech industry, with a focus on payment processing.
- Familiarity and relevant experience of payments, in particular with ISO and payment facilitator operations, and interactions with major processors (for example FIS, Fiserv or Global Payments).
- Demonstrated success in leading and launching complex payment processing products.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
