QA Engineer - fully remote within Europe (m/f/d)

The Team
At JobLeads, quality assurance is more than just testing software—it's about proactively improving the quality of our products and processes. As part of an agile, cross-functional team, you'll work closely with product owners and developers to champion quality from concept to release. We believe in close collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement to deliver exceptional experiences to our users.

Your Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a passion for team success and high-quality outcomes. You’ll be embedded in our development team and play a crucial role in validating new features, optimizing testing processes, and supporting continuous product excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct quality assurance and acceptance testing of new features for our web applications

• Design, write, and maintain automated test cases using tools such as Cypress or Playwright

• Monitor and review test results, ensuring reliability and coverage

• Translate requirements into test scenarios and clearly documented test cases

• Collaborate on concept and design reviews to identify potential quality issues early

• Support the ongoing improvement of software development and QA processes

• Coordinate testing activities with product management and other stakeholders

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of professional experience in quality assurance for web applications

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and modern development practices

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)

• Familiarity with AI tools and how they integrate into testing workflows

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

• Team-oriented mindset, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Nice If You Have

• ISTQB certification or similar qualification

• Experience with performance and load testing

• Familiarity with Linux systems

• Knowledge of marketing and SEO principles

• Previous experience working in cross-functional teams
