The Risk and Compliance group is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of Lucid’s Financial Services organization. In this role, you will be part of a team driving regulatory compliance in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Data Analytics teams across Lucid.

The Risk and Compliance group is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of Lucid’s Financial Services organization. In this role, you will be part of a team driving regulatory compliance in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Data Analytics teams across Lucid.
This individual will support development of policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that employees and internal partners understand and adhere to regulatory and other risk management requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Drive regional Risk & Compliance monitoring as part of Lucid’s Financial Services (FS) organization reporting to the Manager of FS Risk & Compliance
- Partner closely with Compliance and cross functional stakeholders to understand and inventory financial partner obligations and scope requirements into product development efforts
- Contribute to building a strong culture of compliance across Lucid’s teams
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and adoption of sound privacy practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen controls within the business by analyzing products, services, processes, and technologies to identify & mitigate risks
- Support the development and administration of compliance, data privacy training and awareness programs
- Assist with impact assessments to identify areas of risk, evaluate control effectiveness, and recommend risk-mitigation measures
- Conduct FS-wide risk assessments, partner with the first line of defense to address control enhancements with sustainable solutions
- Ensure that remediation efforts are sufficient and timely; Review action plans and remediation documentation to support event closure; Participate in root cause analysis and the resolution of deficiencies
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Risk, Compliance or Audit within Financial Services
- Familiarity with US Financial Regulations and Data Privacy Laws
- Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams
- Bachelors degree required
- Experience in data analytics & reporting
- Proficiency with SQL & Excel
- Position based in Newark, CA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree
- Experience in the Auto Finance, Luxury & EV segment is a plus
- Experience in project management and/or process improvement
