Manager of Solutions Architecture, Secure Product Line

About the role… 

As a Manager of Solutions Architecture, Secure Product Line, at HashiCorp, you will lead a diverse team in a high-performance environment, applying your expertise in solution architecture and/or sales engineering. Your role will be pivotal in guiding the Solutions Architecture team who serve as product and solution domain experts, and drive strategic engagements with their customers during their journey with HashiCorp's Secure Products line, including Vault and Boundary! 

In this role, you can expect to…

• Be responsible for a team of Solutions Architect Specialists, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction
• Develop team performance, set clear goals, and cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Lead the development of sophisticated, scalable, and consumable product and process methodologies within the Secure Product Line portfolio to include Vault and Boundary (both on prem and in our HCP cloud offering), benefiting field teams, partners and customers 
• Drive strategic opportunities across the entire customer journey, from discovery to optimization, ensuring Vault and Boundary are effectively embraced and integrated within customer environments
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key customer partners, account team leadership, and internal collaborators and leaders, handling risks and opportunities related to product adoption, renewal, and expansion
• Collaborate with the Value Engineering and Product Management teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions and supply to new product requirements
• Serve as an educator and advisor to HashiCorp sales and solutions engineering teams, partners, and customers, improving their understanding and adoption of Vault and Boundary

 

You may be a good fit for our team if you have the following…

• At least 3+ years of management experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or related fields
• Demonstrated leadership in running technical teams with a focus on getting results and team development
• Deep knowledge in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and HashiCorp products
• Certifications in HashiCorp Secure Products, Cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), and container orchestration (CKA) are highly desirable
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to handle partner relationships successfully
• B.S. degree in an engineering or similar program from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent experience

The base pay range for this role is:$170,000—$200,000 USDThe OTE pay range for this role is:$212,500—$250,000 USD
