This is a temporary, grant-funded position that will run through 9/29/25. The position will include administrative and community outreach tasks, including scheduling and attending workshops and community events during weekdays, evenings, and weekends (40 hours per week) to promote Jefferson Health's language access grant that is funded by the Office of Minority Health.

The Project Coordinator will connect with community leaders and organization in order to secure workshop sites and to deliver audiences with limited English proficiency. There will be a focus on people with limited English proficiency, so a bilingual candidate is preferred. We are specifically looking for candidates who speak English/Spanish or English/Asian languages. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to lift and transport supplies, including a pop-up tent, table, chairs, paper materials, and giveaways.

Essential duties of the position include but are not limited to public speaking and delivering presentations to audiences with limited English proficiency, working a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, attending multiple team meetings per week, contributing content for progress reports, and hauling supplies and equipment to and from community-based events.

Job Description

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

  • Supporting the Principal Investigator facilitation of Language Access meetings and planning activities related to funded workshop and events

  • Logistics support including scheduling and management of in-person learning environments related to Language Access-funded programs

  • Data collection and information gathering to support Language Access activities

  • Assist in oversight related to the Language Access program

  • Documenting engagement processes and meetings including minutes and attendance of Language Access funded programs

  • Manage communications from community members, Language Access programs

  • Coordinate the development and upkeep of the programs calendar

Education:

HS Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training preferred

Experience:

3+ years of related experience requiredĀ 

Salary Range

$44,503.00 to $63,417.25

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
