Job Description
Allied Universal® is hiring a Healthcare Security Data Analyst. The Healthcare Security and Data Analyst will support a large hospital system by analyzing multi-source data, developing visualizations, and creating client-facing dashboards. This role Involves Interpreting large datasets and delivering reports that align with business goals. The Healthcare Security and Data Analyst will expect to travel up to 30% of their time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Insights: Define key performance indicators (KPIs); determine which KPIs to track; develop, monitor, and update benchmarks; provide data-driven expert recommendations for operational improvements; support Divisional and Program Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
- Process Improvement: Enhance data collection and reporting methods while supporting compliance and governance initiatives; develop guidance materials for physical security personnel on proper incident reporting; coach and mentor security leaders and officers on reporting with the goal of increased effectiveness of data analytics
- Development and Implementation: Learn, drive, and make necessary assumptions to develop and implement Helius for client sites; analyze divisional and program data for outliers and prepare actionable data for operations team; manage customer-based projects, manage deadlines and delegate action items in order to meet customer expectations
- Training Guidance: Provide expert-level training recommendations; direct trainers on needed learning programs to enhance service and ensure compliance with service level agreement; provide indirect oversight of annual training/certification requirements to ensure security professionals meet all customer requirements
- Support: Provide custom reports, wage analysis, and training to improve data utilization across teams; implement training for security management on how to read/filter business intelligence in order to obtain actionable results
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends, generate reports, and create dashboards for stakeholders
- Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and presentations using Smartsheet and MS PowerPoint for non-technical audiences
- Data Quality and Compliance: Ensure data accuracy through validation processes, audits, and discrepancy resolution; develop and implement processes to resolve data discrepancy; work with security management to implement process improvements
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, recruitment, and operations to address data needs and technical issues
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field
- Associate’s degree in Criminology, Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field with a minimum of five (5) of years of experience in data analysis
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of seven (7) of years of experience in data, finance, or intelligence analysis
- Minimum of three (3) years in data analysis for a large organization
- Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively on a project, often under compressed timelines and often across time zones
- Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and be able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
- Proficiency In data visualization, including designing charts, graphs, and matrices, with the ability to create and manipulate basic graphics for effective data presentation
- Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills required with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization while functioning as a team player
- Demonstrated research and critical thinking skills to identify, collect, synthesize, and evaluate large amounts of data and draw logical, measured, and actionable conclusions
- Ability to manage large volumes of emails and deadlines with little supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Prior experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools
- Prior law enforcement or military experience
