Position Available: Customer Assistant I
Supervised by: Retail Store Manager
Location: Thrifty's (1520 6th Ave N; Estherville, IA)

Hours: Every other Saturday- 9:30a - 2:30p
Thrifty's is a retail thrift store that receives donated items from the area, identifies what can be utilized, and then sells the products to the general public at the store location.

JOB SUMMARY:
• Greeting customers
• Answering questions of customers
• Offering assistance to customers
• Suggesting items / lending opinions to customers
• Providing product information to customers
• Operate cash register, computing sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash, credit card or check payment
• Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales
• Clean shelves, counters, tables, and other cleaning duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED/HSED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must pass a health assessment at time of hire
• Clearance from a criminal background check and abuse reporting check at time of hire
