Job Title: Associate Director of High School Initiatives

Department: Enrollment Management

Reports To: Director of High School Initiatives

Location: All campuses

The Associate Director of High School Initiatives plays a critical role in advancing Bucks County Community College’s high school and dual enrollment partnerships. This position bridges recruitment, advising, and registration support for students participating in dual enrollment and early college initiatives. The Assistant Director cultivates relationships with school districts and families, provides operational oversight for student onboarding, supports the academic success of enrolled students, and helps develop pathways for underserved populations to access college-level coursework. This role also supports grant-funded projects and helps execute strategic outreach aligned with institutional goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment, Outreach & Partnership Development

  • Serve as the primary recruiter and representative for dual enrollment initiatives at the high school level.

  • Develop and implement high school recruitment calendars and events (in-person and virtual).

  • Coordinate with Marketing to manage promotional materials and digital content.

  • Represent the college at fairs, high school visits, community events, and orientation sessions.

  • Act as a liaison between the college and local school districts, principals, and community leaders.

  • Build strong partnerships to promote sustainability and expansion of dual enrollment initiatives.

Advising, Student & Family Support

  • Serve as a direct point of contact for advising high school students in the dual enrollment program.

  • Provide support with academic planning, registration, and faculty advising coordination.

  • Conduct school visits, school counseling meetings, and virtual sessions to support enrollment and retention.

  • Lead student-facing sessions on program requirements, college transition, and support services.

  • Offer guidance to students and parents throughout the application and enrollment process.

  • Ensure proactive follow-up and individualized support through the onboarding journey.

  • Help prepare and deliver trainings on registration platforms (ERP System, Student Planning).

Program Coordination, Event Planning & Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Director to implement and monitor dual enrollment programs.

  • Ensure smooth course registration, curriculum alignment, and faculty credentialing.

  • Coordinate advising and registration events, onboarding processes, and communication with academic departments.

  • Plan and execute major enrollment events such as advising/registration nights and high school presentations.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure full college representation.

  • Oversee logistics for dual enrollment information sessions and onboarding workshops.

  • Coordinate onboarding and support services with advising, admissions, student services, and academic divisions to ensure a seamless student experience.

Data Management, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate student records and enrollment tracking in systems like Colleague and Workday.

  • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting student outcome data to inform decision-making and compliance.

Supervision & Other Duties

  • Direct supervision of administrative and support staff

  • Assist with grant applications and reports related to dual enrollment and early college initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of High School Initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree required, preferably in Education, Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experie
