The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with 3–5 years of industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a solid technical foundation, and a proven track record in testing and debugging video systems.
This role involves hands-on expertise with video cameras, USB, and HDMI interfaces, along with desirable experience in Android-based environments. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of Logitech’s next-generation software and firmware platforms for our Video Collaboration product line.
As a quality leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including development, product management, UX, and hardware engineering—to define and execute comprehensive test strategies across the product lifecycle. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive QA efforts across geographically distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases across multiple Product lines
Perform system-level regression, functional, interoperability, and exploratory testing.
Ensure coverage for edge cases and system-level integrations.
Log defects with clear reproduction steps, root cause clues, and severity classification
Collaborate with product, development, and support teams to define test strategies and understand requirements.
Execute Test plans with a focus on the entire room solution including Audio & Video Quality, USB & peripheral connections ecosystem.
Conduct testing across hardware, Android platforms, and software layers to ensure performance, interoperability, and reliability.
Set up and maintain state-of-the-art video conferencing labs.
Accurately log, track, and verify issues in bug-tracking systems with actionable feedback.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Coordinate test case execution across multiple sites and time zones, ensuring consistent test results and issue tracking
Support customer cases by reproducing and debugging issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
3–5 years of professional QA or systems testing experience.
Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and test reports based on requirements and workflows.
Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, JIRA).
Strong troubleshooting and defect isolation skills across software, firmware, and hardware interfaces.
Familiarity with automation frameworks (Python) for transitioning stable manual flows (preferred).
Knowledge of small-scale office networking is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in cross-team environments
Comfortable coordinating work across global time zones and working with remote test labs
Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and clarify requirements.
Proven experience with video conferencing systems and related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on expertise in USB and HDMI debugging.
Familiarity with video/audio testing concepts such as codec behavior, camera framing, voice pickup, and conferencing platform integration (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet
