Security Officer + Great Benefits – Full Time

Location: Denver, CO - Various Locations 

Rate: $19.19/HR - After 6 Months $21.83 & After 1 Year $22.30

Available Shifts: 

• Mon-Fri: 10PM – 6PM OR 11AM - 7PM
• Mon, Tues, Thurs, & Sun: 3PM – 11PM
• Fri-Tues: 10PM – 6AM
• Thurs-Fri: 5AM - 6PM & Mon: 7AM – 5PM
• Mon & Wed-Fri: 7AM – 3PM & Tues: 2PM – 10PM 

Join our Security Team where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. You will become certified in CPR-AED, Trauma care, X-ray imaging in threat detections, De-escalation techniques and use of force to mention just a few. These positions require a high level of customer service and professionalism with the ability to work under pressure. While prior security experience is highly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidates. 

Job Duties:

• Conducts foot / vehicle patrols.
• Check for various unsafe conditions / hazards (unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances / exits, mechanical problems, & unauthorized persons).
• Respond to emergency situations where rapid & effective judgment / appropriate escalation and use of force is required.
• Will work directly with law enforcement, government staffing, and the community.
• Will write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.
• Conducts security screening of all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering the facilities.
• Monitors CCTV.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older 
• High School Diploma or GED Required 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
• Customer service background preferred 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Must have great attention to detail 
• Must be comfortable conducting access control duties  
• Must have a reliable means of communication & transportation 
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers
