FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the full range of tasks of a Fuel Distribution System Worker including receive, store, issue, account for and maintain control of ground, bulk or aircraft fuel and cryogenic products; operate the hydrant system, open and close valves, start and stop pumps, and record amounts transferred; checking pressure gauges, inspecting fuel leaks and ensuring proper position of valves, tank gauges and switches; take samples from vehicles, equipment, and fuel facilities for analysis; adhere to strict quality control , technical manuals, regulations and instructions governing the receipt and issue of fuel and cryogenics. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
