- Responsible for welcoming and routing patients and visitors in person and by telephone in a busy behavioral health agency.
- Demonstrate professional work demeanor, excellent customer service, and outstanding communication skills.
- Respectfully relate to individuals regardless of age, level of functioning or presentation.
- Respond quickly in a changing, multi-task environment with accuracy in documentation information, collecting fees for services rendered, scheduling appointments, answer phones, and coordinating with agency staff.
- Respond to voice mails and fax requests.
- Perform intakes for new or returning patients.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of clerical experience preferred.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
- Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of office equipment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners.
- Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
