Delivery is split between Product Engineering and Platform Engineering.For Product-facing features, delivery is done by squads that include a Product Manager (PM), frontend, API and backend developers, and a Quality Assurance Engineer (QA). Each squad is an independent entity in charge of realizing:- Projects driven by the PM and the product team, designed and delivered by the squad, to accomplish the vision and ambition of our product roadmap,- Tech projects (security projects, technical improvements, introducing or deprecating technologies or technical approaches, tooling for other engineering teams).Platform Engineering is composed of teams working on the core features of our infrastructure, on our rendering platform and on data science algorithms.

You will mainly focus on :

• Participating in the design, architecture and macro-sizing of projects in order to establish realistic estimates, work lines and a quarterly roadmap,
• Spotting hidden dependencies between projects or teams and ensure they are taken into account, both in planning and execution.
• Support projects and keep them within the expected workload estimates,
• Intervene when necessary (problem solving, goal clarifications, change of scope, addition of iterations, change of priorities),
• Listen to the needs of Botify's non-technical teams and take them into account,
• Ensure coordination between Product and Engineering on subjects driven by the Product,
• Designing and improving our internal processes and tools.

Your skills :

• You’ve been in pure technical roles before and can quickly understand in detail a technical hurdle or a back-of-the-envelope sizing.
• You have full professional proficiency in spoken and written English, and French, and you appreciate to work in English.
• You have good written and spoken communication skills (you’ll be in touch with product, development and devops teams) and are able to influence without authority.
• You have a problem-solving mindset.
• You’ve worked in Agile methodology (scrum mostly) in the past.
• You have a taste for analytics platforms and huge datasets.
Bonus skills:
• Knowledge of SEO.
• Knowledge of web-based platforms and Cloud tools : AWS, Google Cloud Platform
