<p><strong>ROLE SUMMARY</strong></p> <p>The Strategy&nbsp;Director is responsible for leading and driving strategic excellence for your clients. You will act as a senior advisor to both clients and internal teams, helping to define, articulate and implement strategies that unlock growth, elevate brand positioning and create meaningful connections with audiences.</p> <p>You will nurture high-impact client relationships, provide ongoing thought leadership and ensure strategic consistency and innovation across all deliverables. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, creative insight and commercial acumen to solve&nbsp;complex challenges with clarity and vision.</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and lead integrated communications and media strategies (across multiple accounts) that deliver against brand &amp; commercial goals</li> <li>Identify, engage and nurture relationships with senior clients and key decision-makers to understand their pressures, objectives and ambitions</li> <li>Use market research, audience data and cultural trends to drive innovative media approaches and strategic recommendations</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams, including planning, data analytics and creative, to ensure seamless integration</li> <li>Ensure consistency and alignment between strategy, execution and measurement</li> <li>Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts through matching OMG specialist services to a client's needs</li> <li>Lead, mentor and manage&nbsp;other junior strategists in&nbsp;the team, providing training and development opportunities and supporting their career development</li> <li>Take an active role in new business pitches – contributing to winning strategies</li> <li>Play an active role in agency and industry wide thought leadership – from authoring thought pieces, presenting at events to taking part in panels</li> <li>Stay updated on emerging media trends, new technologies and industry shifts to drive innovative thinking and competitive advantage</li> </ul> <p><strong>This role is to take a lead strategic role on OMD UK's flagship new account, Aviva.
