Caterpillar’s Resource Industries (RI) segment includes equipment and services supporting the mining, quarry & aggregates, and heavy construction industries. In addition, RI develops and sells technology products and services to provide customers with fleet management systems, equipment management analytics and autonomous machine capabilities.
Caterpillar’s Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology division (RISST) is seeking a financial leader to partner with the business and drive profitable growth.
This Senior Pricing Manager role is an exciting opportunity to lead the Resource Industries segment machine pricing process, including strategy and execution. This role reports to the RISST Division CFO and serves as a strategic partner for senior leadership across the RI Commercial and Machine Product Group organizations.
What You Will Do:
- Be a strategic thought partner with RISST senior leadership to support profitable growth through machine pricing operations and strategy.
- Drive effective coordination and strong collaboration across RI Commercial, Machine Product Group and finance organizations for pricing decisions
- Lead RI segment machine pricing reporting, forecasting & analysis processes
- Manage pricing procedures and compliance while ensuring timely responses
- Implement new tools and processes to drive continuous improvement including reporting, analysis and advanced insights
- Build, lead and develop a high performing team of pricing professionals to execute machine pricing and sales variance processes

- Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
- Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
