Role:

The DuPont T&T business is recruiting for the role of Global Business Director, Tyvek® & Typar® Roll Goods to join its leadership team and shape the future of this iconic business. The T&T Roll Goods Global Business Director (GBD) is responsible for delivering on near and mid-term business objectives by providing strong leadership to the core business operating team. The role has direct accountability for integrating all line functions such as marketing, sales, integrated operations, product line management, technology, supply chain, and demand to deliver on sales growth and margin objectives. The role will balance results delivery with a strong focus on team building and change management, while demonstrating hands-on leadership and adherence to core values. Direct reports for this role will include the Global Marketing Managers for both Healthcare and Consumer & Industrial segments, Regional Sales Leaders for Tyvek® in NA and EMEA, and Commercial Excellence Program Leader, and will give business guidance to the cross-functional business operating team.

Responsibilities:

· Results: Accountable for delivering near term (quarterly, annual, 0-24 months) growth and margin results for the Tyvek® and Typar® reporting unit (RU)

o Drives the RUs’s financial performance, including active management of levers to address growth opportunities and mitigation/gap closure plans to address risks

o Shapes and drives the 0-24 month execution plans, including providing leadership for the Integrated Business Planning process and metric based management

o Drives strategy deployment, while contributing to strategy development

o Establishes priorities and programs in line with managed distribution, price, supply and enterprise objectives

· Business leadership:

o Leads the T&T Roll Goods business operating team, including integration and alignment of cross functional resources

§ Leverages product line management and finance to optimize RU results and make optimal tradeoffs

§ Provides clear and consistent direction for sales and operations teams to achieve results

o Owns the integrated business process; actively drives alignment of supply, demand and product plans, ensuring alignment across Integrated Operations Leader, Global Marketing Manager, Product Manager and Finance.

o Drives growth portfolio and product portfolio management

o Works with team to define the multi-year business strategy and detailed annual execution plans

o Owns the Sales & Marketing budget – forecast outlooks and results

· Strategic growth:

o Develops breakthrough strategic growth plans for the end market verticals

o Contributes to key structural strategic and portfolio decisions

· Team and talent leadership:

o Builds a strong, diverse and high performing core business operating team; ensures development of organizational capability to achieve business objectives

o Provides strong day to day leadership to the core operating team; leads by example – sets a high bar for results and demonstrates the right behaviors to drive cultural and behavior change

o Allocates resources in line with differential management priorities

o Actively develops talent and succession plans, while ensuring high employee engagement.

o Collaborates with Shelter business on optimization of overall Tyvek® enterprise results across all W&P lines of business.
