Sr. Manager NATSEC Partner Sales, Federal Partners

About the role
As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Senior Partner Sales Manager (PSM) focusing on our U.S. National Security Customers and Partners within the WWPS Federal Partners organization, you will have the exciting opportunity to assist WWPS Federal Partners Sales Leaders and Partner Account Managers build, shape, and execute long-term strategic priorities aimed towards accelerating AWS adoption. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business teams to deliver mechanisms that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible while maintaining a strong partner focus. You will build mindshare around Amazon’s utility computing web services for the intelligence community. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales, marketing, and technical teams to identify and develop strategic partnerships, contribute to business development and capture activities, assist in sales revenue motions, and drive successful joint go-to-market initiatives across AWS cross-functional teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop joint go-to-market initiatives that drive revenue growth for our National Security business.
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships that align to our business objectives and enhance our offerings to intelligence community customers.
• Develop and execute partner strategies that drive AWS revenue growth within the U.S. intelligence community. Assist teams with partner inquiries, escalations, and support requests.
• Able to work independently to drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to influence and unify stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Track business performance - provide regular updates involving sales and revenue performance
• Stay current on industry trends and competitive dynamics, and leverage this knowledge to shape strategy around partner engagements and capture activities.
• Represent AWS at industry events and conferences, and contribute to thought leadership and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders across multiple business teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones - anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, think creatively, and make tradeoffs.
• Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner.
• Utilize internal Amazon systems to provide visibility to data metrics and analysis that support or impact the business.
• 8+ years’ experience in partner management or business development supporting the intelligence community
• 6+ years of experience developing and managing partnerships with companies (software, products, services) that drive revenue growth
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS security clearance
• Strong analytical and strategic approach towards sales engagements and revenue generation
• Demonstrated writing skills
• Masters of Business Administration degree
• Familiarity with government acquisitions and contract vehicles
• Experience supporting government institutions within the intelligence community
• Experience working across internal and external organizations
• Program/project management or process improvement experience
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing

Basic Qualifications
• 8+ years’ experience in partner management or business development supporting the intelligence community
• 6+ years of experience developing and managing partnerships with companies (software, products, services) that drive revenue growth
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS security clearance
