6+ Month Contract to Full Time Hire

Location: Alpharetta, GA (3 days per week hybrid on-site)

Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and sustain high-quality Java applications
• Collaborate with diverse teams to outline, craft, and deliver new features
• Contribute to the development of microservices architecture, implementing best practices
• Apply expertise in the Spring framework to construct scalable and efficient applications
• Build front-end components using Angular or React for a smooth user experience
• Integrate seamlessly with NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members
• Diagnose, debug, and optimize application performance
• Stay abreast of industry trends and infuse best practices into development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrate expertise as a Java Developer, particularly with proficiency in the Spring framework
• Possess a robust understanding of microservices architecture and its practical implementation
• Exhibit proficiency in front-end technologies like Angular or React
• Have hands-on experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
• Display a solid grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Showcase excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced with Docker / Kubernetes
• Experienced with Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD
