Job Summary:

The Senior Specialist of Health and Safety will support all aspects of Health and Safety in the Northern NH Region.  This position will work closely with Health and Safety leadership, resort operations, and corporate leadership to implement and sustain a Health and Safety culture that achieves world-class safety performance. This position will work and collaborate with external partners, community leaders, and regulators in supporting the resort as well as the company’s core value of Be Safe.

 

Job Specifications: 

• Location: New Hampshire
• Outlet: Attitash and Wildcat Resorts
• The budgeted range starts at $55,000 - $71,131. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
• Schedule & Availability: Full Time / Year Round

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the company’s Health and Safety strategy to achieve world-class Health and Safety performance within the travel and leisure Industry.  Responsible for the execution of:
  • Safety Training
  • Audits and Assessments
  • Resort Safety Programs and Compliance
  • Advising and coaching front-line leaders on Health and Safety initiatives
  • Relationship building with Stakeholders in the field 
  • Jobsite project inspections, audits, and safety assessments 
• Be an unbiased leader and voice for resort and H&S leadership to ensure a deep understanding of the risks and opportunities to drive, improve, and then maintain superior safety performance with line-level employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Develop an understanding of the core business needs and historic/current/predictive safety metrics in order to adjust safety strategy accordingly.
• Address compliance and regulatory safety as well as risk management trends and regulatory focus areas as directed by the Manager or Senior Manager of H&S
