God has called InterVarsity to plant and to build witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus on college and university campuses. Through these groups, we believe ever- increasing numbers of students and faculty from all ethnic groups and areas of the campus will be transformed by the Gospel. We expect to see campuses increasingly become places where people, ideas, and structures flourish to the glory of God. We confidently anticipate that our InterVarsity alumni will become change agents across the country and around the world. We pursue this calling by discerning and actively participating in what God is already doing on campus. This is the essence of being a Campus Staff Minister (CSM).

PLACEMENT:

We will work with you to discern your preferred location and campus assignment based on your ministry strengths and our places of greatest need. 

 

HIRING TIMELINE:

It is advisable to apply the semester that you are graduating so that you can begin training in funding the ministry (3 hours per week) while you are finishing your degree. For example, if you are graduating in May 2024, you can apply in the Spring Hiring Window. 

 

Spring Hiring Window

• Application is due by 01/01/2025
• Reference names should be submitted no later than 01/06/2025
• References are due by 1/15/2025
• An interview will be scheduled for 2/1/2025, 10am-3pm, location TBA 
• Offer or Declination to follow within one week of the interview
• Ministry Partnership Development Training begins mid-March
