Summary

Job Description:

This position exists to guide children through developmentally appropriate activities that will encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

• Meet the physical and emotional needs of children
• Supervises children diligently to minimize hazards.
• Make mealtime a pleasant learning experience.
• Teach proper hygiene to children.
• Help develop each child’s understanding of concepts and ideas.
• Follow proper age-appropriate control practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree
• Must obtain 15 hours of annual training as required by the Division of childcare within 1 yeat
• One year experience
