About the role

Position Summary

The Corporate Paralegal position supports various legal department staff members with substantive and administrative legal needs. The Corporate Paralegal will assist in a variety of law-related activities that do not require a law degree. Ongoing on-the-job training will be provided. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President, General Counsel and works closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced sales environment.

What We Offer

Responsibilities

  • Assist with drafting agreements and other legal correspondence
  • Assist with organizing and tracking files
  • Manage electronic filing system
  • Act as a liaison with other departments within corporate headquarters, law firms, sales staff and external clients
  • Schedule legal meetings and appointments
  • Other duties as required
  • Refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

Skills

  • Office or administrative support experience required
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to multitask and thrive under pressure
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Must be organized and exhibit strong attention to detail

Education

Bachelor's Level Degree in Legal StudiesParalegal Certificate in ABA-approved Paralegal Program or Equivalent
