Position Summary
The Corporate Paralegal position supports various legal department staff members with substantive and administrative legal needs. The Corporate Paralegal will assist in a variety of law-related activities that do not require a law degree. Ongoing on-the-job training will be provided. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President, General Counsel and works closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced sales environment.
What We Offer
Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting agreements and other legal correspondence
- Assist with organizing and tracking files
- Manage electronic filing system
- Act as a liaison with other departments within corporate headquarters, law firms, sales staff and external clients
- Schedule legal meetings and appointments
- Other duties as required
- Refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities
Skills
- Office or administrative support experience required
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to multitask and thrive under pressure
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
- Must be organized and exhibit strong attention to detail
Education
Bachelor's Level Degree in Legal StudiesParalegal Certificate in ABA-approved Paralegal Program or EquivalentExperience
