This position is for a Reliability and Maintainability engineer intern with expertise in developing and optimizing approaches for system of systems, systems, subsystems, and components.
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (Reliability and Maintainability) - INTERN. In this role, you will be conducting design analysis and system modeling, applying system engineering principles with emphasis on Reliability and Maintainability (R&M). The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of performing R&M predictions, Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and failure analysis. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Experience and/or coursework with Reliability
and Maintainability engineering processes is
required.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering,
Mathematics, or Physics degree.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require
a government security clearance. This position
is located at a facility that requires special
access.
Desired skills
- Familiarity with system engineering processes,
including top-down design, requirements
allocation/traceability, and integrated test
approach
- Experience in working within an integrated
team environment
- Experience with writing formal technical
documentation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings,
requirements, and documentation
