Job Description You’ll join a dynamic wealth advisory practice as a trusted associate, combining your senior bookkeeping expertise with strategic administrative support. This role offers the perfect blend of technical accounting work and client-facing responsibilities, where you’ll directly impact the growth of a boutique firm that values quality above all else. You’ll work closely with the principal advisor, handling both the financial operations of the business and providing critical support for high-value client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping for the advisory business including client invoicing and financial record maintenance
- Conduct quarterly asset valuations and complex fair value calculations for client portfolios
- Provide bookkeeping services for client family offices and related business entities
- Handle professional client correspondence and follow-up communications with wealthy clientele
- Process journal adjustments in Xero and manage various QuickBooks accounting tasks
- Prepare client paperwork, documentation, and manage organized filing systems
- Complete administrative paperwork for investment applications and transactions
- Gather required documents from clients and coordinate engagement processes
- Assist with document certification processes and related administration
- Update client files with asset value changes and portfolio adjustments
Requirements
- Senior-level bookkeeping and accounting experience with demonstrated expertise
- Strong proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks accounting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional client interactions
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information
- Exceptional organizational and filing management capabilities
- Bonus if you have experience working with high net worth individuals or family offices
