BSES is the exclusive distributer of the NAS® batteries and co-develops the NAS® technology together with its Japanese partner NGK Insulators Ltd.</p> <h2>RESPONSIBILITIES</h2> <p>In the responsibility as (Senior) Manager Quality, you will establish a strong quality assurance &amp; control setup at the initial Gigafactory for NAS® batteries.</p> <ul> <li>Establish a professional defect prevention planning for the period before start of production, ensuring correctly designed and implemented processes (Advance Product Quality Planning QVP/APQP)</li> <li>Develop &amp; execute a proactive Quality Assurance (QA) considering process design and documentation, training programs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal quality audits, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and continuous improvement</li> <li>Develop &amp; execute an effective Quality Control (QC) considering inspection of incoming materials, in-process inspections, statistical process control (SPC), functional and final inspections and the related analysis and corrective actions</li> <li>Responsible for the plant’s quality management system and related audits and inspections</li> <li>Build strong networks within diverse, international teams and foster a collaborative, trustworthy, respectful, proactive, open-minded, and high-performing culture creating tangible results</li> </ul> <p>Subject to availability and qualification you may have the opportunity to fulfill your responsibilities at our Japanese partner’s existing production plant in Nagoya through a short-term assignment.</p> <h2>QUALIFICATIONS</h2> <ul> <li>Completed studies in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering</li> <li>Solid position-related work experience gained in automotive manufacturing, battery manufacturing or similar industries</li> <li>Deep knowledge about the interdependencies and success factors of complex industrial work systems</li> <li>Capability to create tangible and sustainable results in a target-oriented way</li> <li>Excellent communication in English, German or Japanese is an additional plus</li> <li>Team player and passion to contribute to sustainable solutions limiting the implications of climate change</li> </ul> <h2>BENEFITS</h2> <ul> <li>Following the successful completion of the initial investment project, promising opportunities arise for the involvement in the plant’s target organization or subsequent investment endeavors</li> <li>Inspiring networks for the development and implementation of your ideas (e.g. Women in Business)</li> <li>Mentoring programs and learning opportunities for your professional and personal development</li> <li>Career paths as professional development to other positions in the company (including job rotation)</li> <li>Support with childcare (e.g. company daycare, holiday programmes)</li> <li>Fitness and health studio, medical care center with numerous offers for your health</li> <li>Deutschlandticket as a discounted job ticket, job bike</li> </ul> <h2>ABOUT US</h2> <p>Do you have any questions about the application process or the position?
