Position Summary

This position is responsible for processing, scanning, and indexing correspondence received from insurance payers and patients via lockbox and/or mail.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Epic and payer websites to locate valid invoice numbers to resolve electronic correspondence exceptions.
  • Utilize Cash Pro to download all HCI and WUCA correspondence and distribute via email or interoffice mail.
  • Process items from the outgoing mail folder. Process includes scanning, sorting, printing, and routing documents to correct departments, folding letters, sealing letters in envelopes, placing the Cost Center sticker with letters.
  • Scan and index into OnBase refund correspondence received from mail or Cash Pro.
  • Scan and index into OnBase zero EOBs received from mail or Cash Pro.
  • Sort mail received at the physical address from the US. Postal Service and other delivery services three times daily (6:30am, 10:30am and 1:30pm) and routes to appropriate recipient via interoffice mail.
  • Complete all printing requests daily.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Salary Range

$17.87 - $27.06 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
