If the answers to all 3 questions are “yes”, then great news since Wolt is looking for multiple Senior Frontend Engineers to join different engineering teams across our Courier Group!</p><p>First things first, let’s talk about what the Courier Group is and what our teams actually do there. 🤔 The Courier Group consists of seven amazing teams responsible for logistics and routing optimization, courier earnings, forecasting and providing top notch courier onboarding and delivery experiences. In terms of tech, modern Typescript and React are our bread and butter both in the Courier Group and across Wolt, we also use React Native in our Courier Partner application, while a big chunk of the backend is built using Python, Scala, as well as some Kotlin and even C++. We’re always improving our services and we aim for excellence, so if you would like to be surrounded by like minded people, we certainly have a lot to offer. 🚀</p><p>Depending on your interests and experience we’d love to welcome you to one of the following teams:</p><p><strong>Employment Team</strong> is a brand new team with a mission to provide effective tools for managing the practicalities of courier employment. In countries like Germany Wolt Couriers are in an employment relationship with Wolt, so being able to effectively manage things like absences and working hours has a big impact on the courier experience and efficiency of the delivery platform. This is a greenfield project, so you’ll be building a beautiful product from the ground up and integrating it with external systems, like HR and payroll as well as collaborating a lot with our Courier Onboarding team. The frontends are built in Typescript (React), while Scala and Kotlin will be the main backend programming languages of the team. Wolt has a strong community around Frontend, so there are good opportunities to collaborate and learn from others!</p><p><strong>Courier Earnings</strong> team, as the name suggests, works on finding the best ways to fairly price tasks for our Courier Partners so that they could easily maximize their earnings using our platform as well as making sure that we calculate what our Courier Partners earned as a part of delivery tasks they performed and the time they spent on the platform.
