What You’ll Be Doing

As our Early Career Recruiter – Skilled Trades, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of Nextech's workforce by building relationships that inspire students to launch rewarding careers in the HVAC industry. You'll serve as the face of Nextech within the skilled trades community while developing a strong pipeline of future technicians who will help power our continued growth.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with trade schools, technical colleges, apprenticeship programs, vocational schools, and workforce development organizations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for career services professionals, instructors, program directors, and school leadership.
  • Identify and establish new educational partnerships to expand Nextech's early-career talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate campus visits, classroom presentations, facility tours, recruiting events, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Represent Nextech at career fairs, industry events, workforce development programs, and community outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Talent Acquisition to promote exciting career opportunities in the skilled trades.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for entry-level HVAC technician positions.
  • Source, interview, evaluate, and guide students and recent graduates through the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs and anticipate future hiring demands.
  • Build and nurture talent communities that keep prospective candidates engaged throughout their educational journey.
  • Support apprenticeship, internship, and workforce development initiatives that strengthen Nextech's future workforce.
  • Track recruiting performance, maintain accurate ATS and CRM records, analyze recruiting metrics, and recommend improvements that enhance hiring success.

Min Compensation

USD $68,000.00/Yr.

Max Compensation

USD $75,000.00/Yr.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for an enthusiastic relationship builder who is passionate about helping students discover rewarding careers while developing strong partnerships that support Nextech's long-term success.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, campus recruiting, workforce development, career services, or relationship management.
  • Experience recruiting for skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, field service, or HVAC-related positions is preferred.
  • Experience building campus recruiting, trade school, or educational partners
