What will you be doing?
Growth Consulting is a strategy consulting practice, powered by CIRCANA, focused on driving profitable growth established 10+ years ago. The team works with senior management at some of the world’s largest and most successful consumer packaged goods, retail, general merchandise, and over-the-counter health care companies, as well as for Private Equity firms.

Analysts join our offices around the US to work in teams and directly with our clients. You will join a growing strategy practice that is uniquely positioned to help clients improve performance in a challenging environment through our speed to delivery, unparalleled data assets, industry specific expertise, actionable strategies, and collaborative working style.

Job Responsibilities

• You’ll work in small teams of 3 – 5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement.
• This includes demonstrating creativity in thought, problem solving and conceptual skills, able to structure analysis and research, gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations
• Your analysis and consulting will lean heavily on Circana’s proprietary and leading-class data platform – including POS data, Panel data, and custom survey data.
• You’ll need to show an understanding of strategic frameworks, demonstrate basic understanding of business models and functions, exhibit a positive and make it happen attitude with strong collaborative skills
• You’ll present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members
• You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams. Due to the intimate nature of the practice, you’ll directly report to a Partner and additionally have a mentor and peer coach assigned to you to help guide your career. You’ll receive guidance and support in the selection of client engagements, helping you to develop your skills and build your network.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree (preferably in business, marketing, consumer insights, statistics, or economics) with less than 4 years of work experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to create work product-focused materials / outputs, which may include PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables
• Ability to work or attend meetings outside of traditional business hours or take on projects with limited or no notice at times
• Excellent organization capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
• Proficient in rational decision making based on data, facts, and logical reasoning
• Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
• Collaborate across time zones using relevant digital productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and digital communication tools (e.g., email, Teams, Zoom).
• Ability to travel occasionally (typically less than 10%)
