Job Description

As a Security Guard Distribution Center in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role combines customer service, communication, and teamwork while supporting daily operations with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including interior work areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Observe operational conditions and report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations while supporting orderly operations across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
