The larger team's objective is to support and accelerate R&amp;D innovation, by delivering to our R&amp;D laboratories around the world outstanding lab informatics solutions and drive operational excellence.</p><p>The platform will support many data streams for a variety of different laboratories. Operational efficiency, observability, improvement and management of change are key attributes that need to be maintained, so the platform can meet our scientists need for producing data, AI-ready.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Analyse functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications, implement and integrate software solutions</li><li>You are responsible for the integration of lab platforms and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, identify areas for improvement</li><li>Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, developers to ensure the processes and platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives</li><li>Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed software solutions.</li><li>Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to inform technical decision-making.</li></ul><b>Qualifications - External</b><h2>Qualifications:</h2><ul><li>A Bachelor or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, <span>Chemistry/Biochemistry,</span> Chemical Engineering</li><li>Proficiency in running IT platforms, preferably in a life science environment.</li><li>Good understanding of SDLC and related documentation for GxP and Non-GxP data system, system integration, data exchange techniques and database concepts</li><li>Familiarity with software development tools and frameworks (e.g., Git, JIRA, Spring).</li><li>Experience with Empower, Agilent CDS and other SDMS is a plus</li><li>Good communication skills, analytical and problem-solving.</li><li>Proactive and dedicated mentality, with a passion for continuous learning, professional development</li></ul><p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
