Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN for our Operating Room. We offer a full spectrum of surgical services using state-of-the-art technology and minimally invasive approaches. We perform ENT, General, Gynecology, Neurology, Ophthalmic, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Trauma, Urology surgeries and more!

Hours: 9AM to 530 PM/ 32 hours a week / No on call , Weekends, or Holidays

Job description :

• Excellent assessment skills. In person and/or phone assessment of preoperative patients.
• This nurse will work closely with all disciplines to make sure the patient is optimized and cleared for surgery.
• Pre-op teaching and very specific instructions must be communicated so patients are not cancelled the day of surgery.
• Attention to detail and flowing through with a patient's medical history and pre-op plan.

Qualifications:  

• A minimum of 3 years operating room experience

• Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing

• BSN is strongly preferred 

• Associate’s degree in nursing required

• BLS required 

• Circulating and scrubbing experience required

• CNOR preferred
