Position overview:

 

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services is seeking to fill a Health Facilities Surveillance Nurse for the Bureau of Long-Term Care. The position will be conducting inspections and providing consultation to Long Term Care providers. The ideal candidate will work closely with long term care settings regarding certification standards, clinical practice standards, and long-term care issues. The ideal candidate will also monitor the implementation of the Medicaid Waiver program and assist with certification and monitoring of the health and safety of residents in the Supportive Living Program settings. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have strong analysis, planning and organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
