Job Description

We're searching for a talented and dedicated Shopify Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have both front-end and back-end experience, with a knack for crafting engaging e-commerce experiences.

If you're passionate about online commerce and have hands-on experience with Shopify, especially in app/plugin development, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize both front-end and back-end features for our Shopify webshop.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing e-commerce integrations.
• Lead the development and customization of Shopify plugins, with a strong focus on payment plugins.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of all Shopify integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience and implement new features.
• REST/RESTful API knowledge and experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Shopify's Liquid templating language and its API.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and frameworks, like: JavaScript, React, Redux, styled-components, HTML, CSS3 and Preprocessors. Good knowledge of TypeScript, Git, NodeJS and NPM.
• Strong understanding of back-end development and database design especially like PHP, Docker, microservice architecture and symfony components integration.
• Previous experience with Shopify app/plugin development, notably payment plugins.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a problem-solving mindset.
• WordPress development knowledge and experience is an advantage.
